Heather joined UT CTAS in February 2021 as a County Government Consultant after serving as circuit court clerk in Coffee County from 1994 to 2021. During her tenure, she was president of the State Court Clerk’s Association and the County Officials Association of Tennessee (COAT) and became a certified public administrator in 1999. Heather has trained newly elected circuit court clerks since 2002. Before her clerk role, she was an accountant at Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an accounting major from Tennessee Technological University and an MBA with a focus on organizational management from Middle Tennessee State University.
